"Flight of Megizzewas" follows a day in the life of a bald eagle named Megizzewas as he flies over iconic Northern Michigan scenes. The beautiful illustrations are by award winning Michigan artist Christopher Smith.

The title character is named in honor of an eagle rescued by the author's great-great-grandparents in 1917.
